2018 U19 Australian Championships

The 2018 U19 Australian Championships will be held in Perth, Western Australia from 21 March until 24 March 2018.

Boxing Tasmania Inc.(BTI) is inviting nominations for boxers and coaches to represent Tasmania at the Australian Championships in the U19, U17 and U15 weight divisions and these are to be submitted via email to secretaryboxingtas@hotmail.com. Nominations will need to be accompanied with the following documents:

• All nominated youths will need a Passport for consideration of the selection event for the Women's World Championships and Men's World Championships.
• Australian Legislation requires that U17 and U15 nominees provide not only their Australian Birth Certificate but also evidence of that at least one parent was an Australian Citizen at the time of their birth.

Current serology and medicalswill be sourced from all nominees closer to the Championships, however all BTI athletes and coaches are expected to be in attendance at the "BTI Big Day Out" on Saturday 13 January 2018 at Campbell Town from 9am - 12pm. Medicals will be completed there (at a cost of $30) ensuring currency for the Australian Championships. In addition, the BTI Team for the Australian Championships will be announced following training and orders for state uniforms will be taken.
